Well, I blew it!  I totally skipped last Monday's Sharing His Beauty!  It was a holiday week and my mind was on family, however, I do apologize!  But, I'm back at it today and can't wait to see who links up with this post!

Also, as you all are aware, it has been a challenging week here in the U.S... as well as across our world.  I find that the more upset I become over the events in the news, the more I purposely seek out God's beauty.  And, I have seen it!  I am encouraged to know that God is always there, even in our darkest days.  He is the light that shines that keeps us moving forward.  I am so thankful for His strength and the comfort He gives during trying times...

Where has God shown you His beauty this week? Please join me to share the blessing that God is to you in your life. 3. This week beauty is found in how the love of Jesus can warm the coldest heart, and bring it back to life.

  4. It has been quite a busy and heart-breaking few weeks, hasn't it! No worries about missing last weeks link-up. (I assumed you were o.k., as I knew you had been on the road for the holidays.) I know too, that in spite of so much going on in the world, God shows me too, that He is good and He is in control and He showed His beauty in family and loved ones who surround us with His love.

  5. Joan, it has been a sad week, hasn't it! But it's so comforting to know that God is sovereign and at work even when we can't see what He is doing in all of this. Praying our nation sees our need for Him! Thanks for hosting!

  6. Yes it has, Ann. All that we hear and read gets almost too much to take in. However, I'm trusting God as He leads us into the future. What a blessing He is as He guides, comforts and loves.

    Blessings, Joan
