“Be still, and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10

Lord, in the quiet of the morning I come to you, thankful that you see me. In your presence I feel safe and at rest. You give me peace through your wisdom and strength and you speak to me with words of love. Thank you, Lord. You are my God and there is no other! In Jesus’ name I praise you, amen.

Have a peaceful day,

  1. It's almost as though words will break the stillness.......stay in the quiet and the peace comes.

  2. Yes...sometimes, I can sit, just wanting to talk to God but I am too busy talking to hear what He is saying back...So I sit in the quiet and feel His presence!

  4. Years ago when Rev was working full-time at consulting and serving our congregation full-time, which of course meant that was working loooong hours. One of our elders called and said that God had encouraged him to share that verse with my dh. We had held it close to our hearts since that day.

  12. He is here with us all the time, but so often we don't realize it. But it is such a blessing to slow down and sense His presence, isn't it?
