Hope

Overflowing

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace 
as you trust 
in him, so that you may overflow with 
hope 
by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

I praise you, Lord, for the hope you give! This blessed gift sustains me during difficult times and keeps me filled with your peace and joy no matter what is going on around me. Thank you! Your presence gives me strength and courage to face each day. I am overwhelmed with emotion as I think about your love for me. My heart is filled with gratitude and praise for you! Thank you, Lord!

    So glad you were encouraged by this post! :-) Yes, on Wednesdays I post these short prayers as I "Pray the Word". But, I do write longer devotionals on Fridays that usually surround a lesson I've learned or something God has shown me in my life. Right now, though, I'm "Unwrapping the Gifts of Advent". I can't believe we're almost to week 2! Thanks for stopping by today!
