God's Love.
Looking to You
"Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise."
Philippians 4:8

Thank you, Lord, for reminding me on what my focus should be. When I get caught up in dwelling on the trouble I see or the trials I face, I become discouraged. But that is not what you want for me! Thank you for prompting me to focus on all the good that is around me and help me to continue to fill my mind with positive thoughts. Thank you for the many blessings you give me each day! Your love is amazing. You are so worthy to be praised and I am looking to you!
In Christ's name, amen.

That picture is so beautiful. What a way to celebrate who God is and on whom we should focus.
ReplyDeleteHis is so worthy! It is so easy to get caught up on the "stuff" around us, but that can get so discouraging, can't it? But, focusing on God brings peace to our turbulent worlds!
ReplyDeleteAMEN! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with Woman to Woman's Word Filled Wednesday! God bless.

Keeping our focus on God will keep us in the right state of mind to handle whatever is before us! Blessings, Joan
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful prayer. Love this: "You are so worthy to be praised and I am looking to you!" Amen.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lisa! When I get distracted from Him, I become exhausted. Then, when I turn my focus back to where it should be, my burdens are lifted!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Joan
Indeed Christ encourages us to focus. And many are His miracles. Being of Him, or by Him, as you will say in English, is uplifting since we notice. Fantastic prayer.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is with His strength that we are able to keep our eyes on the blessings (most importantly the blessing of God!) all around us rather than focusing on the trials we are going through.
ReplyDeleteHi Tracy! Yes...to be "glass half full" kind of girls! That is the way to be... Interesting thought about our focus on the good things removing the guilt of not focusing on the bad things. That brings up how often we worry and mourn much longer than we should because we think we have to or that people won't understand how deeply we feel unless we are hanging our heads like Eeyore! (From Winne the Pooh). It is a choice, don't you think? But, when we purposely turn our focus to God and all the good things He has done, the choice becomes an easy one!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Joan
May we never question God. I say, as a child to another.
ReplyDeleteAmen, Joan. Fixing my eyes on our Lord.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you, Anita!
ReplyDeleteMy eyes are fixed on Him! I always appreciate the prayers you share. And thank you for linking up for Three Words Wednesday and your kind comment on my post. Your prayers for me and my family are truly felt. {Hugs}
ReplyDeleteHi Beth! I'm glad you were encouraged! When we keep our eyes on Him, we have the strength to get through the challenges in life, don't we? Blessings to you! Joan
ReplyDeleteRight! I look at so called poetry afforded by people today and I long for the drawing of a child.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great reminder Joan! When I fix my eyes on Him, I don't dwell on my circumstances. Blessings!
