My Own Eyes
"I had only heard about you before,
but now I have seen you with my own eyes" (Job 42:5).
Thank you, Father, for your hand on my life. When I was younger, I didn't truly understand who you were. But as you have brought me through different seasons in my life, my eyes have been opened to your presence. I praise you for your strength and power, wisdom and love! You are so worthy and I yield myself to you!
In your powerful name,

That verse is one of my favorites. Especially when I consider that it came from the mouth of Job - someone who had every reason to doubt the goodness of God. There is a world of difference between knowing "about" God, and truly knowing HIM!

So true! Above all else is my continued desire to know Him more and more!
