A Single Day

"A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked" (Psalm 84:10).

Life with you is more beautiful and satisfying than any other way! Thank you for welcoming me and desiring a relationship with me. If I had remained in the dark, unaware of your beautiful light, I would only have been existing. No matter how much "stuff" I had, my life would have been empty and dark without you. But you bring contentment and joy! There is no greater place than to be with you. I am so grateful for your love. In Jesus' name, Amen.

    I was reminded of this verse:

    "The one thing I ask of the LORD--the thing I seek most--is to live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, delighting in the LORD's perfections and meditating in his Temple." (Psalm 27:4, NLT)
