Freedom

Set Free

"Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, 
and keep on praying" (Romans 12:12).


I am so thankful, Lord, for your gift of hope! Through Christ, you have given us a way to live in freedom. No longer are we bound by the troubles of this world. You have come to set us free! As I daily offer my heart to you, I ask that you guide me and direct me in your ways.  Help me to not allow the turmoil I see around me to distract me from the beauty in you.  I am trusting you, Lord and my soul rejoices in your holy name! Amen.

    I am also asking the Lord to not let the turmoil WITHIN me to distract me from His beauty and love. Good word on this one, Joan.
