As many of you may already know, I have a second blog called “Blessings in His Grip”.  At that site I journey through the scriptures and pray God’s Word with my prayer partner and great friend, Tricia.  In order to streamline my blog and keep things simple, I have decided to combine the two blogs.  I’ll still keep the “Blessings” site up (for now at least), but I will be incorporating the posts and prayers from that space into this one.

God knows our heart and hears all our prayers, but there is power in His spoken word.  Praying the scriptures is a fantastic way to connect with God and find encouragement in your prayer life as you, ‘Put on the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God” (Ephesians 6:17).  I’ll be posting the scripture-prayers once or twice a week, in addition to the Monday “Sharing His Beauty link-up”.  Also, as God moves and time allows, I’ll be posting supplementary devotionals or updates mid-week. I encourage you to check back regularly and join me on this journey into a deeper relationship with the Lord!

In His grip,

I too have streamlined my two blogs and am working on a new site trying to figure it all out. May God bless each of your efforts in sharing His word with others!

  2. That sounds like a great idea. At one time I had 4 blogs going. Crazy. I love that I will be able to keep up with all of your posts in one place. Hopefully I will get around to be a better commenter soon :)

  5. Yes, I realized that I was getting overwhelmed with both blogs and as a result, my posting on both of them went down! I'm excited about seeing how well streamlining works as I seek to serve God in this way. Blessings!

  12. Blessings to you Joan as you combine your blogs. I'd love to move mine from Blogger to another hosting site, but dread all that change :)

  15. Oh, I know what you mean! Even when I re-vamped my blog and changed what it looked like, I was nervous. I was afraid I'd lose everything! But, I backed it up, prayed and voila! All was ok! Good luck to you as you look into a different host (or decide to stay!)

It is a blessing to be linked with many fellow Christians. i don't always manage to visit all of them, but the ones I do, I enjoy feeling the love. Blessings from Oz.
